Help Save American Horses

As 2020 comes to an end, we look to you for help in meeting our essential fundraising goals to save horses from slaughter, while also continuing to raise funds for our lobbying efforts in 2021. 

Your donations will go towards saving at risk horses from slaughter. They will also be used in our ongoing campaign to make it illegal to slaughter American horses for human consumption.  

When not fighting nationwide to ban horse slaughter, we are rescuing horses from slaughter and giving them love, medical care, training and the second chance they so deserve. We restore their love and trust in humankind and find them safe, loving and permanent forever homes.

Ongoing Costs:

• $5/horse feed/day

• $50/horse feed/week

• $500 sends a lobbyist to DC for one day

• $1000 saves a horse from slaughter

(*all donations of $200 or more will be gifted a FREE Believe Ranch trucker hat.)

When you make a $1,000 or more donation, you can directly save a horse from auction. Your $1000 donation can also send our two representatives to DC to lobby for the SAFE Act, which will ban horse slaughter once and for all. We call these “lump sum” donations and they make a HUGE impact.  

No matter the donation size, every dollar helps us look after these majestic creatures - giving them a second chance they so deserve.

Please note: All donations will be made to In Our Hands Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) organization. Your donation is not tax-deductible. Funds will be used to help with our legislative advocacy- to bring a bill to the Senate to help ban horse slaughter of American horses once and for all. A portion of the funds raised will be donated by In Our Hands Action Fund to In Our Hands Action Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization for the feeding and nurturing at-risk horses back to health.
